Hello again, and welcome to this weeks
letter! I hope this weeks issue finds you well,
and your online business continuing to grow and
thrive.
Well, Christmas is definitely getting closer.
If all the Christmas decorations going up hadn't
convinced you, the increased number of shoppers
around certainly should!
We were really good last year - we managed to
get pretty much all our Christmas shopping done
before the end of November. Not this year, alas!
We will be attempting to do it this weekend.
Here's hoping we can fight our way through the
crowds :-)
Speaking of Christmas decorations, I'm going
to try something a bit different in this
newsletter. I'm going to try and collect
pictures of the Christmas decorations people on
this list have put up.

for people to view them. I've started the page
off with a picture of our tree that we put up on
the weekend, but that's only one picture. I'd
like to get a lot more pictures there!
So if you've taken a picture of the Christmas
decorations at your house (preferably from this
year, but last year is ok), and you're willing
to share it, just follow the instructions on
that page to send me the picture.
And as an incentive for people to send in
their pictures, I'm going to give away one free
membership to my membership site (drawn on
Boxing Day) from the group of people who take
part.
Hopefully we can all help spread a little
Christmas cheer this year.
(BTW, in case anyone is cynical about this
being 'another marketing ploy', it isn't. There
are no ads, popups, popovers, popunders, or

This weeks interview snippet comes from Barry
Stein. At the start of this year, many people
began to take notice of Barry due to the
incredible success he was having using Google
Adwords to promote affiliate products.
Needless to say, with everyone taking notice
I decided I'd better interview him on what he
was doing :-)
In this snippet, Barry talks about how he
determines if a product he is testing with
Adwords is worth keeping, requires some work
with the ad or keywords, or should be
cancelled.
I test a new product for about 100
click throughs if I can get my keyword bids
for five to ten cents. If I have to pay
twenty cents or more to do my test then I
will only do a 50 click through test.
If a product gets a quick sale then I will
get more aggressive and slowly raise the bids
on my most relevant keywords so that they get
a higher position and more impressions.
After about 500 click throughs I will have
a good idea if the product will continue to
be profitable or if some early sales were
just a "fluke.'
And if it is profitable after about 500
click throughs then I will create it's own
campaign and create as many Ad groups as I
need to. I usually end up with anywhere from
two to seven Ad Groups.
After you get a real Affiliate Money Maker
(AMM) you will know how a profitable
affiliate product performs. You will make
sales within about 20-30 click throughs and
have a conversion rate of about 3-5%.

It seems so simple, doesn't it? And that's
the thing - because it's so simple, everyone
either a) doesn't do it, or b) doesn't think of
it! :-)

away to improve your online success.
