Hello again, and welcome to this weeks
letter! I hope this weeks issue finds you well,
and your online business continuing to grow and
thrive.
I apologize for not sending out a newsletter
last week - I didn't get my computer back from
the repair shop until the middle of the week,
and I've been trying to get everything sorted
out since then.
But I think I'm now back up and running ok -
touch wood! :-)
Before I pass on todays interview tip, I
wanted to point you towards a fantastic resource
that will allow you to get discounts on over 54
current and popular Internet marketing products
and services.
Called 'My Discount Vault', this collection
has been put together by Richard Quek. There are
some fantastic discounts in here... even my
membership site is included :-)
And best of all, not only do you get access
to all the discounts, but you can also resell
the collection yourself!
Find out the full details now at...

(Note: If you're already a member of my

This weeks interview snippet comes from
Edward Thorpe. Edward has been using list
co-registration services for several years to
build his own newsletter list. Very successfully
too I might add.
(If you're not familiar with list
co-registration services, basically it allows
you to buy the names and email addresses of
people who are interested in what you have to
offer. No, we're not talking about spamming, or
harvesting email addresses! These are legitimate
people who have opted in).
There are hundreds of possible traps you can
fall into when using a list co-registration
service to build your list. A common problem
when using a co-reg service is the people who
join your list are often less responsive than
people who join via other means (eg: from your
web site).
Edward had some great advice for the first
message you send out to them, so that you start
to "warm them up", and make them more
responsive.
People buy from people they know,
like and trust.
Make a friend first. Earn their trust by
being their friend.
Treat them with excellent manners and
bring them into your world by letting them
know about you and your life. Encourage them
to tell you about themselves and their
interests.
Never, never lie. Never treat them with
disrespect. Let them know how you and they
are coming into contact. Give them ample
opportunities to opt-out from your
mailings.
Bottom line, it's a combination of
commonsense and good manners. You 'talk' to
them as you would want to be talked to, if
you were them.
Here's a short excerpt from my "Compressed
Email Relationship Building" eReport that
comes with my "Co-Reg-Secrets" eBook:
- Tell them how they got on your
list.
- Tell them 'why' they should stay on
your list.
- Never lie.
- Explain how they can immediately and
forever stop any future mailings from
you.
- Never be disrespectful.
- Always display good manners and good
humor.
- But don't come off as a cupcake,
either.
- For each email you write and send -
know the most desirable action you want
from the receiver.
- Make it dead-easy for them to take
your most wanted action.
Keeping in mind: we're all lazy, greedy
and are blessed with the attention span of a
10 minute old armadillo puppy.
Don't attempt to sell them anything until
you're earned the right.

your new list, and much much more.
