Boy what a busy week it's been! It seems that
everything is happening all at once at the
moment (not too surprising I guess, as Christmas
is just around the corner).
Speaking of Christmas, as we all know
Christmas is a time of gifts. Well for once I'm
going to get in super early, as I have several
gifts for you today!
The first gift is one mentioned last week. In
case you missed it, it's a report titled
"Affiliate Marketing 101", and it's a great
introduction to the hows and whys of affiliate
marketing.
The thing I like most about it is the
personal tips and observations that the author
passes on. These tips are extremely
valuable!

The second gift is a free report on how to turn
visitors to your web site into repeat visitors,
subscribers, and buyers. This is something I
know we can all use, and the tips in here are
extremely powerful!

Finally, I want to point you to a free CD on
offer. Created by popular motivational coach
Mike Litman, you can now grab his excellent
"Greatness Held Hostage" CD for just the cost of
postage. This one is really a no-brainer, as
Mike could easily be charging $30+ for this CD.
Be sure to grab yourself a copy while it's still
free!

Another exciting thing that has happened this
week is that I've released a new product!
This product is actually a collaborative
effort with a good friend of mine, David
Sinclair. We are both Mac users (and programmers
- which is how we met), which was how this
project came about.
I was complaining about the lack of Mac
software for Internet marketers to David. One
thing lead to another, and the result is a
program we have called Macfilink.
The name may seem strange, but the job it
does isn't. It allows you to cloak your
affiliate links, so that people can't steal your
commissions.
It's extremely powerful (yet very easy to
use) - and did I mention that its available for
Macs only? :-)
If you use a Mac, you'll want to check it
out...

This weeks interview snippet comes from
Martin Avis. Martin isn't a "big name" Internet
marketer. And he certainly doesn't use the title
"guru". Martin's online speciality isn't
marketing (although he is certainly a good
marketer).
Instead, Martin focuses on self improvement,
motivation and time management. The "mental
game" if you like.
I'm sure at some stage we all run into the
problem of not having enough time. I know I do
at times! I asked Martin a little bit about this
topic (as time management is a topic he is about
to release a book on, so he certainly knows his
material!) This is what Martin had to say:
Time will tick by whether you get a
lot done or whether you waste it. Time
doesn't care.
You should, though.
There are three main reasons why there
don't seem to be enough hours in the day:
- You have too much to do.
- Other people interrupt you too
often.
- You waste time.
Most often people who have too much to do
set up a feedback loop of stress in their
busy lives that acts like an anchor. They
start to worry about the jobs they haven't
got to yet so much that the jobs they are
currently working on suffer and take even
longer.
Dealing with other people who waste your
time is one of the hardest to do - and whole
books have been written about it. Suffice it
to say here that the more you practice saying
no, the easier it becomes!
When you are yourself the time waster,
there is nothing that I can say to help you
unless you are willing to admit that you have
the problem. Most people are in denial when
it comes to their own procrastination and
would rather blame anything else than
themselves.
The biggest procrastinators are usually
the people who argue most vociferously
against personal development and goal
setting. Deep down they know that the problem
can only be solved by changing something
within themselves - and that is a very hard
step to take.

My personal tip on this subject is to write
yourself a list of what you have to do -
preferably on a piece of paper that you can
place beside your computer. Make sure the tasks
you list are each fairly small, and can be done
in a reasonable amount of time.
Then, as you complete each task, cross it off
the list.
Seeing your list of tasks slowly getting
crossed off is a great motivational tool, and
helps you keep going to try and get more of your
tasks completed.
Just don't try to make the list *too* long -
otherwise it can have the opposite effect! If
you need to, make two lists. One list has the
tasks you are going to do today, and the second
list has the tasks that you have to get to after
today.
Martin's interview is part of the collection
of 82 interviews, 264 downloads (many with
reprint rights), 24 discounts and 975 minutes of
training videos that are part of the membership
site. Join now by visiting http://www.achievenetprofits.com
(And remember, you pay only a once-off fee
for a lifetime membership!)
Anyway, that's about it for me this week. I
hope you have a great week, and I'll see you
next week.
Cheers,
Jason

about to achieve success. They quit on the one
yard line. They give up at the last minute of
the game one foot from a winning touchdown." --
