I hope this weeks issue finds you well. If
you've just joined us, welcome! I hope you'll
find something useful here for your online
business.
I think it's now official. I'm not as 'young'
as I used to be. Late last week my dad and I
spent a several hours on the roof on my house,
replacing the nails in the roof with screws.
(Nails tend to 'pop up' over time, and every
popped up nail is a small leak in the roof.
Screws don't have that problem).
The job involved lots of bending of the back
and knees. And now, almost a week later, my left
knee is still complaining.
The depressing thing is, my dad hasn't had
any sore joints - and he's in his 50's, while
I'm only 28! :-)

This weeks interview snippet comes from Mike
Mograbi. Mike is the author of the ebook "378
Internet Marketing Predictions", which has been
receiving rave reviews from people who have
bought it.
(NOTE: Members of the Achieve Net Profits
membership site can buy it at a $20
discount).
But something not many people know is that
this wasn't Mike's first book - he's already had
a lot of success selling an ebook online. And it
wasn't in the overcrowded Internet marketing
area. Instead, it was on the topic of self
improvement.
Given his success with creating ebooks, I
interviewed Mike on the topic of creating and
marketing a successful ebook. His interview is
rather interesting (especially his advice at the
end!)
Here are the first four (of nine) points Mike
made in his parting advice.
First of all, conduct extensive
research to find out whether the product
you're going to create has a hungry market.
The question that is always in the mind of
anyone is: "What's in it for me? How can this
make me happier, richer, better?" Answer that
question convincingly in the form of a
product and your sales letter and you're on
your way to big bucks.
Second, find out what competitive and
complementary products exist in the market.
What are their strengths and what are their
weaknesses.
Third, remember that the expensive is
cheap. In other words when you pay for good
hosting, good solutions to use to create
and/or market/promote your product you'd
actually be saving yourself and your
customers a lot of time, effort and
trouble.
Fourth, don't rush into throwing the
product to the market. Do enough testing to
improve the product, the website/sales
letter, etc...
I highly recommend taking the advice of
those who have made it like pros and gurus.
For example, I asked the pros and gurus what
the best price for 378 Internet Marketing
Predictions would be and they said "no less
than $97!", and I'm going to raise the price
to $97 first of September. Their feedback is
invaluable.

Anyway, that's about it for me this week -
short and sweet :-). Till next week, I wish you
all the best with your online business.
Oh, and if you're watching the Olympics - go
the Aussies! :-p
Cheers,
Jason
