Welcome to this weeks issue of the Achieve
Net Profits Letter.
It always happens. You mention something that
is happening, and almost straight away it
stops.
Case in point - a couple of people asked to
see a picture of the mountain I mentioned in the
last issue (the mountain behind the city I live
in - Hobart - had been covered in snow due to
the cold weather).
Yep, you guessed it. Since I wrote about it,
the weather has warmed up slightly and there's
been almost no snow to be seen! :-)
But I'll keep an eye on the mountain, and
when it gets covered in snow again I'll take a
picture and put it on the web site.

There a two quick things I want to cover
before I get to the interview snippet.
First of all, I've been busy organizing my
first teleseminar. Assuming everything goes to
plan, it should be happening on June 9. I'll
pass on full details for the call next week, but
before I do that I need your help.
The call is on the topic "How To Set Up Your
Own Membership Site". Not surprisingly, this is
something I've had recent experience in :-). But
I've also managed to convince four other people
to talk with me on this subject.
Which is where I need your help. We need to
know what your biggest question is about setting
up a membership site (so we know what to talk
about!) And as a thank you for your time, I'm
offering 3 free gifts.
Please take a moment to send me your question
by visiting

Secondly, I want to briefly mention something
that I'm sure you've heard about a lot recently.
It seems everyone is talking about it - it's the
new membership site, Nicheology.
Rather than take up a lot of space here, I
ended up writing a review of my thoughts and
putting it on the web site. Obviously the site
has been rather hyped up since it was
"released", and IMHO most people (especially
those promoting it!) haven't been pointing out
the disadvantages to the site.
I've tried to point those out in my review
(as well as the advantages of course).
I did end up joining the site, but as I talk
about in my review I don't expect to use the
material from the site as-is.
Anyway, my review
of Nicheology can be found at:
http://www.achievenetprofits.com/nicheology-review.shtml
(By the way - for people who decide they want
to join Nicheology, I'm offering a number of
bonuses for joining via my link, including free
membership to my own membership site, Achieve
Net Profits. The full details are at the end of
my review).

This weeks interview snippet is from Richard
Quek. Richard is the author of the recently
released book "EXPOSED! &endash; 101 Proven
Strategies To Get More Visitors To Your Website
In One Day Than Most Websites Get In A Year"
(something I'm sure we're all interested
in!)
Not surprisingly, I spoke with Richard about
the topic of traffic generation - what works,
what doesn't, mistakes to avoid, and things you
need to keep in mind to make popular methods
that you hear about all the time (eg: joint
ventures, viral marketing) actually work for
you.
Here's what he had to say about viral
marketing, when I asked him if it is still a
viable method for getting traffic to your site
these days.
Viral marketing is an effective
strategy to generate free traffic. It is
still effective today but there are a few
things that you need to consider:
- Make the report or ebook unique. I
would suggest that you write it yourself.
Write on something you are passionate
about. It need not be more than 100 pages.
Anything that is more than 15 pages should
be good.
- Allow the reader to rebrand it. This
will encourage them to pass the reports or
ebooks around. To see an example please
download my free ebook, '7 Steps to
Setting up an Online business'. http://www.xtimm.com/7steps.zip
- You need to promote it aggressively.
One way to get the necessary leverage is
to source for a membership site and help
solve their problem. Write an ebook to
help their members. If the ebook is useful
to their members, the owner will gladly
promote it to their members. That's a
great start! If you read my ebook that I
mentioned above, you'll understand what I
mean.

Richard passed on many more valuable tips in
his interview for getting traffic to your web
site. Some topics included how not all traffic
is created equal, the things you need to do to
make your Joint Venture proposal appealing to an
expert, and common mistakes that many people
make.
Well, that's about it for me this week. Till
next week, I wish you all the best with your
online business.
Cheers,
Jason
