Welcome to this weeks issue of the Achieve
Net Profits Letter.
Man, I can't believe that it's the end of
April. Four whole months of the year have flown
by already.
Are you on track with your goals? I know I'm
not! Looking at my goals, I definitely need to
do some course readjustment.
I don't know why, but for me April seemed to
be the month of getting buried in lots of little
things to do, and not getting much 'real' work
got done. Needless to say, this didn't help with
working towards my goals either :-) Nor has it
helped me publish this newsletter on time this
month!
(On the plus side, I do seem to be on track
to organize my first teleseminar. More details
on that in the next week or two.)
Before I get onto todays interview snippet I
want to let you know about two new resources
(one free, and one paid).
The first is a fantastic webcast that the
people from Nitro Marketing did recently.
Seriously, this is one webcast you have to
listen to.
It talks about creating "underachiever" web
sites. Small web sites that by themselves only
earn anywhere from a few hundred to one or two
thousand a month, but once set up take almost no
work to maintain. I don't know about you, but
that sounds interesting :-)
Since the webcast is free, they do have a
pitch at the end. But ignore that (the offer is
about to expire anyway) and listen to the
fantastic information they pass on. Definitely
one you don't want to miss.
http://www.underachieverformula.com/webcast/
(I'm not sure how long they will keep it up -
they normally only leave their webcasts on their
site for a couple of weeks, so don't put off
listening to it!)
The second resource is from a friend of mine,
Codrut Turcanu. Codrut was the first person I
ever interviewed for this newsletter, so I've
known him for a while.
Codrut has recently started offering an
article ghostwriting service. If you're not
familiar with ghostwriting, basically he will
write an article for you (on any subject related
to Internet / Affiliate Marketing or Online
Business). You then own the article, as if you
had written it yourself, and can do what you
want with it.
As an added bonus, Codrut will even promote
your article for you to newsletters and online
directories.
There isn't space here to go into everything
that Codrut offers with his package (or the
benefits of writing articles), but I recommend
you check out his offer. You can find more

This weeks interview snippet is from an
interview I did a while ago, but it is still as
relevant today as it was when I did it.
The interview was with Allan Gardyne. You
probably recognize the name - Allan runs the
very successful Associate Programs web site, and
is definitely one of the experts when it comes
to affiliate marketing.
The snippet covers the four most common
mistakes Allan sees people make when they start
marketing affiliate programs, and what they
should be doing instead.
1. Thousands of affiliate newcomers
build web sites about Internet marketing when
they know almost nothing about Internet
marketing. I know, I did it, but it's dumb.
It makes much more sense to concentrate on
one small niche and aim to be the best you
possibly can be in that small field. Build a
reputation. That way, you're building a
business.
2. Not having your own memorable web site
and domain name. If you don't have your own
site, you have a hobby, not a business.
3. Advertising the program directly in
newsletters. It's better to advertise a free
report, your own site, your own newsletter or
an autoresponder series. That way, you have
repeated opportunities to make a sale.
4. Promoting a product when you haven't
bothered to learn all you can about it first.
If you use the product yourself and like it,
your genuine enthusiasm for it will shine
through.

That pretty much wraps me up for this week.
I'm still desperately trying to play catch up on
everything. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to
do so by next week, and everything (including
this newsletter schedule) can get back to
normal! :-)
Till next week, I wish you all the best with
your online business.
Cheers,
Jason

do the thing you fear and get a record of
