Welcome to this weeks issue of the Achieve
Net Profits Letter.
I'm sorry for the unannounced week off last
week. After a nice relaxing Easter, I managed to
catch some sort of stomach bug around mid-week.
It didn't totally take me out of commission (I
still got a few things done), but it did limit
my time.
Which meant I didn't have time to write last
weeks issue.
But now I'm back and rearing to go!
I certainly wasn't expecting the response I
got to Louis Allport's coaching videos in the
last issue. It seems the topic struck a cord
with several people. And I'm not surprised - the
topic they talk about is very important.

So what do they talk about? Basically Louis
has put together a set of videos that will guide
you through finding a profitable niche that you
can create your own info-product for.
It was very interesting watching the videos -
some of the ideas he presented I already knew.
But Louis then extended those ideas further, and
combined several ideas together in ways that I
wasn't expecting.
For example, the method Louis shows for
determining how profitable a niche is likely to
be was obvious once I saw it - but I hadn't
thought of combining the different ideas
together he used into the one method.
(Although isn't that always the way with the
best ideas?)
But a word of warning. If you just want a
list of ideas and keywords that you can go away
and use straight away, you won't find it
here.
Instead, Louis shows you how you can come up
with your *own* ideas.
While this is more work (not hard work - but
still work), it also means that you won't be
competing against everyone else who buys the
product. Some people won't bother using his
ideas (because they're too lazy), and even if
they do, they will probably choose a totally
different niche to you.
The videos really do give you a step by step
system to follow, and I believe anyone can do
what Louis talks about.
Not only do you get the videos, but I've
decided to throw in an extra bonus as well. It's
a series of 5 interviews Louis did with very
successful info-product creators (and no - they
aren't all creating Internet marketing products!
:-) )
Once you have your niche idea, these
interviews are sure to be a great help to you as
you get your product, and your site,
together.
I've talked about it enough about it. I
highly recommend that you take a look and see
for yourself what you'll get.

Strangely enough, this weeks interview
snippet is also on the topic of creating your
own info-product (I know this is a popular topic
with my members, although I didn't plan to have
two interviews in a row on the same topic).
This week I've been interviewing Gauher
Chaudhry. Gauher has authored quite a few
ebooks, and has even been featured in the New
York Times!
I've decided to offer two snippets from the
interview this week, on two of the topics he
talked about.
On Taking An Initial Idea, And
Deciding On The Specific Topic
"I generally try to take the idea and make
it into a detailed question. For example,
when I thought of the idea of writing an
ebook on autoresponder courses, I came up
with the question, 'How can someone create
powerful autoresponder courses that presell
products and services and almost always
guarantee an order?'
"By generating questions like these, I had
an easier time preparing the outline for my
ebooks that would answer these type of
questions."
On Outlining The Book, So It Is Easy To
Write
"What I initially do is break my ebook
down into related chapters. It is important
to make sure that your chapters flow. Nothing
is more frustrating then an ebook that jumps
from one topic to another unrelated
topic.
"Once I have the chapters broken down, I
further break down the chapters into
subsections. I then work on on subsection per
day, and when I am done with all the
subsections, I put them together as the
chapter and then the entire ebook."

I want to leave you with one last tip. You've
heard it before. It's certainly no "secret". But
it is very important and you really need to do
it if you don't already.
Test and track everything you do.
I know I know, you've heard it before. I said
it was no big secret.
But have you actually done it?
I wasn't doing much testing until I created
the sales page for the membership site (I have
to do a lot of testing on it - I didn't write a
very good sales letter, and I need to improve
it! :-) )
Some of the results I've found have been
surprising (only around a third of your web site
visitors will ever see a popup), and some
haven't been (the headline you use can mean all
the difference between someone clicking through
to your order page, or just clicking away).
Now I'll be honest - testing and tracking can
be a chore. There are tools that will help. For
example, the free script "Scientific Internet
Marketing Assistant" - http://www.marketing-strategy.org/
- will run split tests for you. And there are a
lot of options available when it comes to ad
trackers.
But you still have to set up the testing.
There isn't a magic wand you can wave and have
everything happen automatically.
But truly, bite the bullet and "just do it"
(as they say). In the end you'll be very happy
with the results!
That's about it for me this week. before I
go, don't forget to check out Louis's product
that I talked about above. With it, you'll be
finding a topic for your own info-product in no
time!

Till next week, I wish you all the best with
your online business.
Cheers,
Jason
