1. From the Editor
Welcome to this weeks issue of Achieve Net
Profits. I'm afraid I'm not feeling the best
this week. Plus the interview I have for you
this week is rather long (but VERY
informative!). So I'm going to cut my usual long
ramblings short this week (hey, I heard that
sigh of relief! ;-) ), and just tell you about
what's in this weeks issue.
My interview this week is with Duncan Carver.
Duncan is the man behind the "Scientific
Internet Marketing Assistant" (SIMA), a
fantastic web script that allows you to carry
out testing of different web pages (sales
letters, etc) very quickly, easily and
automatically.
I spoke with Duncan on the topic of testing -
why to do it, how to do it, etc. Duncan gave me
some fantastic answers in his interview, and I
know you'll learn a lot about this very
important subject.
I've decided to move the results from the
interview ratings and any mini-surveys to their
own section of the newsletter. So you'll find
the final result for last weeks interview
below.
The new resource this week is "Pay Per Click
Profits Overture uncovered", written by Paul
Manuel. Paul has managed to master the PPC
search engines, and by doing so was able to quit
his job in only a few months! In this report he
talks about how he researches and sets up his
bids on Overture. More on this below.
I hope you enjoy this weeks issue. Don't
forget that you can view all the past issues

3. Your Feedback
Rather than "clutter" my editorial with the
results of the surveys and interview ratings,
I've decided to move those results down to their
own location. Here! ;-)
As there was no mini-survey last week, I've
only got the results of rating the interview
with Lana and Vincent Dorazio to pass on. There
were 20 votes for the interview, with a final
rating of 4.25 out of 5.
Please keep those votes coming in! And I
promise I'll have a new mini-survey available
next week.
4. Resources - Pay Per Click
Profits Overture uncovered
Phil Wiley featured the author of this report
(Paul Manuel) in his newsletter several months
ago. Why? Because Paul did what many of us dream
of doing, but few of us manage to do - he had
quick success with Internet marketing, and was
able to quit his job in only a few months.
In Paul's case, his success came from using
Pay Per Click search engines to promote other
peoples products. This has received a lot of
coverage lately (with the book GoogleCash), but
Paul was doing it well before the current craze
started.
This report shows the process Paul goes
through when setting up his PPC campaigns on
Overture (although the methods would work fine
for other PPC search engines, like Google
AdWords). The bit I like the most is where he
talks about tracking your results, then
calculating your conversion rates, costs,
profits, etc.
It's an informative read, and I recommend you
take a look if you are even remotly interested
in PPC search engines.
This ebook is in PDF, so can be read by most
people. A link to the ebook has been added to
the "members only" section, along with the
existing collection of ebooks, ecourses, and
other useful sites.

5. Final Word
I'm sure you'll agree with me that Duncan
Carver's interview was superb, and full of great
information on the hows and whys of testing.
If you haven't tried it already, I urge you
to download SIMA from the URL Duncan provided.
It really is easy to install and use. I'm using
it to test one item on my site already, and I
plan on using it to test several more pages in
the coming weeks.
Speaking of web sites, the Achieve Net
Profits web site will be getting an overhaul in
the next week. Ok, so I'm probably the only one
who's excited about it ;-) But hopefully the new
look will make the site come across as more
"professional" (whatever that means).
Till next week, I wish you much success in
your online business.
