1. From the Editor
Welcome to another issue of Achieve Net
Profits, brought to you from the sunny (but
wintery) shores of Tasmania, Australia.
I've got to say I really enjoy this time of
year. The mountain behind the city I live in
(Hobart) gets covered in snow (although it
rarely snows down in the city), and on clear
mornings the view can be spectacular.
Of course, the cold mornings make it very
difficult to get out of bed. Or maybe that's
just because I'm lazy ;-)

Thank you to everyone who voted on last weeks
interview. There were 20 votes, with the final
score a straight 4 out of 5.
Please keep rating the interviews (even if
you hate the interview - especially if you hate
the interview!). The ratings help me to get a
feel on whether you like the interviews, if they
are helpful, if the topic is interesting,
etc.

Have you looked at your plans for the year
lately? (you did make a plan at the start of the
year for your business, didn't you?) I was
reviewing mine the other day. To be honest, I'm
not doing so well.
There were a couple of items that I was ahead
on, but overall I am well behind where I should
be according to my goals for the year.
If you were with me at the start of the year,
you might remember that I made the overall goal
for the year to be able to quit by J.O.B. Well,
this month has been a bit of a wake up call - if
I don't get a move on, it won't happen!
What about you? How are you going with your
plans for the year? Have you made plans for the
year?
They don't have to be super detailed. You
just need to spend some time working out what it
is you want to accomplish, and then determine
the steps you need to take to reach those goals.
You'll find that having a target to shoot for
will help keep you on track.
I think part of my problem has been I haven't
made intermediate goals. Sure, I worked out the
steps I would need to take - but I didn't come
up with concrete GOALS (x subscribers by this
date, y dollars/month by another date, etc).
Don't fall into the same trap I have ;-)

I'm sure you're waiting to hear what's in
store for you this week, so I won't delay things
any longer with my ramblings!
I've got to confess I haven't had a chance to
get a new interview ready this week. So I've
decided to reprint an interview I did with Allan
Gardyne last year (way back in issue 14, and by
far the most popular interview in the last
survey I ran).
In his interview Allan talks about affiliate
programs - how he got started, common mistakes
he sees people make (and what they should do
instead), and what it REALLY takes to succeed
with affiliate programs.
Allan is well known as a expert on affiliate
programs (after all, he makes a living from it),
so when Allan says something it pays to
listen!
The new resource this week is by Codrut
Turcanu. Codrut approached seven successful
affiliate marketers, and asked them how they
went about creating their success with affiliate
programs. I guess you could call them
mini-interviews. The result makes for very
interesting reading. More on this below.
I hope you enjoy this weeks issue. Don't
forget that you can view all the past issues

3. Resources - Super Affiliate Money Making
Tactics Revealed
I'm sure you all know my feelings on
interviews - after all, I publish a newsletter
with one every week ;-) In my mind, interviews
are one of the best ways to learn about a
topic.
Codrut decided he would do short interviews
with a seven successful Internet marketers on
how they go about promoting affiliate programs.
The result (Super Affiliate Money Making Tactics
Revealed) is a rather interesting collection of
hints and tips on the best way to go about
promoting affiliate programs.
If you need to learn everything there is to
know about affiliate programs, this isn't the
right book. But if you have already made a few
sales, this book might just give you a few ideas
on how you can improve your results.
This ebook is PC only (sorry Mac and Linux
users). A link to the ebook has been added to
the "members only" section, along with the
existing collection of ebooks, ecourses, and
other useful sites.

4. Final Word
I got my first "stop sending me #$% mail you
%$%^" message the other week from a (now former)
newsletter subscriber. Its sad how some people
feel the anonymous nature of email means they
can say and do anything they want.
I wonder how the guy would react if I knocked
on his door? Not to threaten him or anything
like that - just to ask him about the whole
episode, why he reacted the way he did, etc.
Then again, perhaps its best not to waste any
energy thinking about people like that. There
are too many people like that out there to worry
about, and if you do worry about them you don't
get anything else done.
Well, heres to ignoring idiots like that
;-)
Till next week, I wish you much success in
your online business.

thank you to everyone you meet for everything
they do for you." -- Brian Tracy
